Fronted by "The" Tex of Tex & The Horseheads, the legendary Ms. Jones' new act represents something of a return to the form of her legacy namesake band, foregoing the more folky explorations in the past decade in favor of straight-ahead rock'n'roll infused with blues and punk. The hard-edged band features Chelsea Taylor on guitar, Nathan Calhoun on bass, and Frank Garymartin on drums.
